Actions and qualities: It is cooling, sedative, a muscle relaxant, aides in joint pain, coughs, asthma, and cramping.
Specific uses: It can be made into tea, tincture, salve, oil, poultice or bath tea. Some collect just the sap for a stronger, more sedative effect. It is also sometimes used as a food source, and the whole plant can be eaten raw or cooked.
